As a Black-led organization, we are vitally aware of the gaps in support that can be experienced. In a rapidly changing social context, the promise of our young people means we need to pay attention, not only to our victories but to our challenges.
In previous years, with money raised through your support, we were able to:
- Produce policy briefs
- Increase our organizing efforts with the Freedom Hill Coalition and North Carolina’s 10 HBCUs (The NC10)
- Improve our professional development series, CREED Academy
- Increase programming by 60%, reaching over 2000 new constituents with programs such as #TeachinginColor
- Increase equity fellowship (North Carolina Equity Fellowships)
- Hire additional staff members
